Hanoi

The first stop is the chaotic capital city, Hanoi. Spend some time in this wonderful cultural hub and you will soon learn what makes in one of the best tourist attractions in Vietnam. Stop off at the Old District or wander down to the Perfume Pagoda, which is a must-see for every tourist. Ha Long Bay and Sapa are nearby and are sure to tickle your fancy.

Visit Northeast Vietnam

Regions like Ha Giang and Cao Bang are fantastic places for those wishing to go somewhere a little different. Few tourists ever visit them, but with five to eight days and a provided four-wheeled vehicle, you can see some virtually untouched places.

Journey down to Hue

Hue is south of Hanoi, and is an ancient Vietnamese capital. You will want a few days to have a look around and visit some of the breath-taking temples in the area.

Hoi An

A lovely beach is just the first of many great attractions in this wonderful city. You will never grow tired of looking at the incredible architecture in the beautiful streets of Hoi An, or picking up tailor-made clothes at bargain prices.

Dive into Nha Trang

Scuba diving is great in this region, with a number of amazing beaches around.

Saigon

Also known as Ho Chi Minh, this is the business center of Vietnam. If you thought Hanoi was loud and chaotic, this place is even more so! Like Hanoi, it has plenty to offer.

Drift down the Mekong Delta

Hop in a boat and check out the floating markets of the Mekong Delta.

Don't pass up Phu Quoc Island

Leave this little beauty till last. Growing commercialism has not been able to spoil the pristine beaches and clear, beautiful water of this wonderful island, just south of Cambodia.

Different models tend to have different amounts of both megapixels and memory. The megapixels will affect the standard of pictures and memory will figure out how many pictures your camera will save. They also have many different features available.

Some of the models in the power shot series are water evidence while other may be light weight. The features will vary depending on the model you choose. Most all the models have the capacity to take quality pictures even in dim light. What Do You Want To Know About Car Hire

January 31st, 2010 Jason Hall No comments

Whether or not to take out rental insurance, when you are renting a car, has been a major decision among all renters. It is important, when you rent a car, that you understand these companies want to sell you insurance because it is a way for them to make more money. On top of that, rental companies encourage you to take out their insurance because it protects their car, and that is all that matters to them.

Here are some of the most asked questions about rental insurance, and the answer are most likely going to surprise many of you.

AM I COVERED UNDER MY OWN CAR INSURANCE, EVEN IF DRIVING A RENTAL CAR? This is a big YES! Almost all car insurance companies will cover you, even when you are driving a rental car. I would, however, suggest that you contact your insurance company prior to getting your rental just to be 100% sure.

IF I USE A CREDIT CARD FOR MY CAR RENTAL, WONT THAT COVER ME FOR ANY DAMAGES? Again the answer to this is most likely. Most major credit cards like Visa, American Express, and Master Card do offer you additional insurance protection when you charge your vehicle rental to your credit card. Again this is something that you can easily check into by calling the company in advance.

IF I AM COVERED BY MY CREDIT CARD AND MY CAR INSURANCE DO I NEED TO PURCHASE THE CAR RENTAL INSURANCE JUST IN CASE? Absolutely not. Many companies will tell you that your insurance wont cover everything or that you are leaving yourself open to liability if you don't take their coverage, however most car rental coverage doesn't even cover you as well as your own. Many times the companies and their representatives will lead you to believe that this coverage is necessary, but in reality it will provide you with no benefit at all if you are already covered, and therefore this will just be unnecessary money that you will be handing over to the car rental agent.

So before yo arrive at the rental car company to pick up your vehicle check with your insurance and credit car companies to see what you are covered for. This will make you more confident when you refuse the rental companies insurance and you will be saving a lot of money.

Know These Four Things to Start Planning an Affordable Disney Vacation

January 30th, 2010 Nancy Bobby No comments

If you are planning your first visit to Walt Disney World, congratulations! You will be visiting one of the most "magical" vacation destinations there is, filled with literally hundreds of attractions, rides, restaurants, hotels and events. Feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of trying to figure out how to start planning this wonderful vacation? This article will focus on some of the very first things you need to do before you book anything. Doing your research is central to planning the most affordable Disney family vacation.

The first thing you will need to decide is when you are going to go. If possible, try to start planning at least 6-9 months in advance. In order to determine the best time for your Disney World vacation, you will need to think about your feelings about things like crowds and weather. For instance, do you hate crowds? Then don't plan to visit during the crowded summer months, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or spring breaks. And likewise, if you hate heat and humidity, you should avoid Florida summers.

The next step then is to determine the things that you and your family would like to experience at Disney World. I realize this seems odd to do this at this part of the process, but it is very helpful to your planning to know which parks you are most interested in, or if there are special events you want to be a part of. You want to know these things at the beginning so you can plan your trip accordingly.

To get an overview of everything there is to see and do, you will want to have some good planning guides to provide the information you need. There are two that I use over and over:

1. I always start with the Disney World website, as they have a great free planning DVD. In order to get it, you will need to sign up for a log-in and get on their email list, but you want to do that anyway, so that you are eligible to receive promotions and special offers.

2. The Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide is a helpful e-book that was written by a former Disney castmember. With a lot of really helpful park information, it is especially great at providing some excellent money-saving strategies.

OK, you know when you are visiting, and what you want to see and do. Next you need to determine how long to plan your Disney vacation for. Check your available vacation leave, as well as work/school schedules and then get an idea of how long you will need to see everything that is important to you. This relates to an extent to the discussion about the time of year you will be visiting Disney World. If you will be there when it is the crowded or the very hot summer, you will want to allow a little more time: the need for "cooling off" breaks, or navigating through crowds, means that it will take longer to do everything. And if you have little ones, add some extra break time in for them as well.

So how long does it typically take to visit each park, if you want to see and do "it all"? I honestly advise you to plan for at least 5 full days to see all four parks completely. And if any of the above applies to your plans, then add a little more time.

The final step before you start booking your vacation, is to decide how much you want to spend. To plan an affordable Disney family vacation, this will be extremely important. Having a budget in mind right from the start will help you keep control of your costs. Be realistic and honest about this part, and don't worry if your budget is not huge: you can still have a fantastic vacation without spending a huge amount of money!

Once you have these four things in mind...when you are going, what you want to see, how long you can stay, and what you can afford...you are then ready to start filling in the details and booking your vacation. Lay the groundwork at the beginning, and you will have a wonderful, magical, and affordable Disney family vacation!

The Florida Hot Spots

January 30th, 2010 Thomas Clarke No comments

The beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico can be accessed at many points along the Gulf Coast. Florida is one long beach around the entire peninsula. About the only places that don't have great beaches are the island keys. It seems a little weird, but the keys are not the best beach destinations but they are great for other water sports and activities. Fishing, skiing, the traditional way and the jet version, scuba diving and sailing are all great activities while in the keys. The water is beautiful and the weather is warm and inviting.

There are many destinations that can provide you with some great vacation fun. If you go to the southern most point of the state you can visit Hemingway's house where there are six toed cats wandering about. The Atlantic side has the infamous Miami Beach, and on the North there is Cocoa Beach. Both are tourist destinations, however they will provide you with a great time no matter what kind of beach fun you are looking for.

There are things to do other than just hang out on the beach. Ninety minutes away in Orlando is Disney and all the other theme parks that you would want to visit and just a couple of hours north is Daytona Beach. Daytona is another great destination on the Florida east coast. A couple of hours across the state, on the Gulf of Mexico side is Tampa and Clearwater.

If you are visiting the Tampa area you will find there is never a dull moment. Tampa is full of fine dining establishments, sporting events and theme parks. From there you just drive across the bridge and you are in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg area where you can enjoy a lot of fun and some of the greatest beached in all of Florida.

South of St. Petersburg is Sarasota and Ft. Myers. There are many great seafood restaurants and Ft. Myers has one of the greatest art museums in the state. The Ringling Museum is the hot spot for artist scene and has one of the largest collections of fine art. There is so much to see and do, while visiting Florida, you may find yourself return each and every vacation.

Something You Should Bare In Mind When In Ireland

January 30th, 2010 Jimmy Dan No comments

Ireland has become a good place for trips, but for them there are still many things they should bare in mind. In the early 1990s, Ireland took an economic turn upwards, and the country began to establish itself with economic success. Since then immigration has increased from the European countries, Russia, and even Australia and the U.S. The well-hidden secret of the wealth that Ireland has to offer has begun to slip out.

Today, vacationers and those who just want a quick get-a way for a weekend or so, are coming to Ireland to experience the old town charm mixed with what the thriving metropolis has to offer. There is something to do for everyone between the ages of 1 and 101, and there抯 always more to come back to.

Dublin, with almost 500,000 people, is the capital of Ireland.

Belfast, again close to 500,00 is the capital of Northern Ireland. Both of these huge cities began as shipping ports, through the Irish Sea, way back around 488AD, so they are filled with the charm and character of an old town, while being able to offer you all the comforts of a bustling city.

There are many cultural villages strewn throughout the country that offer experience, culture and very wonderful foods!

Museums, theaters, and sporting events

Plenty of shopping are available as well. And, it is some of the best that you will do anywhere.

With the mass transit system you and your family can easily reach any destination, or tour the town. The system itself is a thing to see and experience.

Restaurants and outdoor pubs spring up everywhere so you can always stop into one of these friendly taverns and get refreshment. Children are welcome almost everywhere and casual attire is accepted.

Of course, if you want to go out to a fine restaurant for dinner, and then go dancing till dawn, there is plenty of nightlife for you as well.

Ireland has the most beautiful beaches of anywhere, and Galway County on Galway Bay is a great place to enjoy some of the surf. Since Ireland is an island, there are a lot of sandy shores to see, but remember that the summer season is only from June to August, and then a light jacket might be necessary as you walk the shoreline. The waves, sun and the sand are enticing though, and the kids will just love to just go and have fun! So be certain to make at least one of your days in Ireland a beach day!

Then at the end of the day, what could be better than a fresh seafood dinner prepared specially for you, in any one of the many seaside restaurants that line the coastal towns. You could drive from Dublin to Galway City in a matter of a couple of hours, and with the Atlantic ocean on the west side of Ireland, and the Irish Sea bordering the east side, you had better believe that the best in North Atlantic seafood is available for you!

The variety and charm of Ireland makes it the best get-a-way for your whole family, or just for two. Come and enjoy!
